The Horse Tech® Universal Loose Ring Rotary Double Cooper Roller Snaffle Bit is designed for use with Universal 3-Ring bits, and its effects are even more significant when used in conjunction with two pairs of reins. The main reins are used in the large ring, while the second pair of reins can apply pressure to the poll if needed. This requires an experienced and sensitive rider to achieve the optimum effect. The rotary mouthpiece, angled forward at 45 degrees, provides additional control for strong horses that tend to evade contact. The curved mouthpiece, with its jointed barrel in the center, puts pressure on the tongue and corners of the bars. Both sides of the mouthpiece move independently, allowing for greater versatility. The rotary joint, combined with the double cooper roller, creates a bit that is horse-friendly and encourages salivation.

Care Instructions

After each use it is advisable to wash your bit under the tap and dry it thoroughly. It is not necessary to polish your bit, however if you wish to do so you may use any reputable metal polish, ensuring that there is no residue left on the bit.  In order to achieve this, immerse in warm soapy water after polishing and rub thoroughly with a soft sponge. Finish off with a cold rinse under the tap and dry thoroughly with a cloth.
